How One California Homeowner Uses Aqua2use to Save Water—and His Trees

Jay had a plumber install a two-way valve that redirects greywater (from the washing machine, sinks, tub, and shower) to either the Aqua2use system or the town sewer. Now, with a simple bathroom switch, he and his family can choose where the water goes.

“If we’re washing something gross or using bleach, we send it to the sewer. Otherwise, it goes to our trees—about 90% of the time.”

“If it [the drought] ever gets really bad, at least our trees will survive. We can replant flowers. We can’t replace those redwoods.”
